There are many unsung heroes in the filmdom. One such is Palani Raj the thriller on silver screen from his expertise in the last 21 years.

Palani Raj was before the media for the first time at ‘Shiva’ shooting at Rockline Studio on Saturday. He is a chilling action director from 1990. He came as master in 1990 for Kannada cinema ‘Nishyabda’ of Dr Vishnuvardhana in the direction of Dinesh Baboo. Jayasri Devi was the producer of that film.

The going was good for black complexioned Palani Raj since then. He is hot favorite of Malayalam super star Mohan Lal. What he says of Shivarajakumar is that he is such an actor who does not give tension to action directors but takes to himself.

Palani Raj got fame in Omprakash Rao films. From ‘Government’ Kannada cinema he is on a good speed. He has so far completed 600 films in Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil in South India. Palani Raj has special regard to director Om Prakash Rao. When Rao calls I would leave all my job and come to work in his films. That also shows how well Rao make use of the technicians.

Going to other languages is what earned him a special place in his department.
